The Spirit Bird Cave Archaeology Project was developed to collect data for my undergraduate thesis, as well as to provide an opportunity for non-invasive fieldwork for other undergraduate students. For this project, I supervised a crew of HSU internship students in the development of a project field manual to accompany photogrammetry field work in Blanding, Utah. I directed efforts to raise funding and support for a rock art field photography trip to Utah. After conducting fieldwork, I instructed and supervised the lab analysis and test construction of a test model using Agisoft Photoscan software. The information learned from this project was applied to my undergraduate thesis project Modeling Consciousness in Archaeology: A Non-Invasive Approach.
